Al Awwal Gray Black – Zakat (Eau de Parfum)

Spicy oriental-woody perfume that combines elegance, depth, and presence. Ideal for those seeking a sophisticated scent with a nocturnal character.

Main olfactory notes:

• Top: pineapple, pepper, bergamot, marine notes, and lavender.

• Heart: jasmine, cedar, dark rose, oud, and amber.

• Base: cedarwood, patchouli, musk, moss, amber.

Estimated duration and sillage:

• Good duration; many reviews place it at several hours, especially on clothing.

• Strong projection at the beginning, then it softens while maintaining presence.

Recommended use:

• Nights, special events, formal occasions where you want to stand out without being too invasive.

• Temperate to cold climates: the spicy, woody, and resinous notes shine best.

• Versatile for masculine or unisex use, especially if you like perfumes with an oriental character.

Inspirations / similar perfumes (“dupes” or similar versions):

• Many descriptions associate it with spicy oriental-woody fragrances with fruity notes in the opening, a style reminiscent of contemporary luxury perfumes that combine oud + spices + wood. (No exact dupe is mentioned, but it is situated within that category).

• The “Al Awwal Khususi Black/Gold” variant by Zakat is cited as a more concentrated and rich version, with similar notes (oud, lavender, spices).

• Why choose it:

• It offers a distinctive scent with a combination of freshness, spices, and woods, which does not go unnoticed.

• It has a good price-quality ratio for what it offers: olfactory complexity and acceptable performance, especially considering similar brands.

• Perfect for those who want an elegant perfume with an oriental character that provides presence without being overly heavy.
